Why has Realogy changed its name? 

It goes without saying that our brokerage brands are some of the most highly respected names in the industry – they each represent powerful stories that resonate in the market. But there is one brand that we haven’t prioritized nearly enough: our own! We have a powerful story to tell about our vision for the industry, our incredible talent, and our drive for innovation, candidly, the Realogy name was not adequately telling that story.

As a company, we have returned to growth, fortified our balance sheet, accelerated our product delivery, and fundamentally changed our culture as we continue to move real estate to what’s next. Our new name better reflects our aspirations and commitment to transforming the real estate experience for consumers, anywhere. 

Does this mean you are making structural changes to the company? 

No. Nothing about the makeup of our company will change as a result of this rebrand. However, our rebrand does signify several philosophical changes: dedicating ourselves to transforming the transaction process with the consumer experience in mind, and leveraging our suite of innovative technology and marketing products.

The new name also reinforces our decision to be a remote-first company and allow many employees to live and work wherever is most beneficial for them. As we continue to accelerate our talent strategy, we are committed to meeting people anywhere on their career path, helping them build a better future on their terms. 

What will happen to the Realogy name? 

By the end of second quarter 2022, we expect to discontinue use of the Realogy brand name. This change will include updates to resources and materials such as website, financial filings, stock ticker, company statements, and press releases. Until then, we will be operating as normal under the Realogy brand.

Why did you choose the name Anywhere? What does the logo represent? 

The Anywhere brand is not only a nod to our geographical reach – it's also about meeting the consumer anywhere in their buying or selling journey across the entirety of the market. 

In our new branding, you’ll notice an emphasis on the “re” at the end of Anywhere, reflecting our prominence within the real estate industry.

The Anywhere mark is an eight-stroke asterisk, symbolic of depth, connectivity, and amplification, with the bottom vertical stroke falling away to lie horizontally as the foundation of a home. 

The two lower strokes of the asterisk come together to form a pitched roof, while the linear middle strokes form the horizon line and the upper three strokes form the arc of a sun rising above the home, conveying the potential that comes with a new day.


The Anywhere logo colors are deep midnight blue, expressing vast opportunity, and vibrant orange, evoking hope, joy, and illumination. 


The name “Anywhere” reflects how the modern consumer is choosing to live and work – making themselves comfortable anywhere.

What impact will this name change have on Realogy’s brokerage brands, companies, and business units?

Our name change won’t have a direct impact on the daily operations of any of our brokerage brands, including Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, Corcoran®, ERA®, Sotheby’s International Realty® and Cartus. These companies have incredible history and brand recognition in the industry, and we’ll continue to provide the support, technology, and operational excellence to empower them to succeed through the new Anywhere brand.

As the Realogy brand will be discontinued, each business unit that contains the Realogy name (e.g., Realogy Title Group, Realogy Franchise Group, and Realogy Leads Group) will receive a naming convention that best represents each business.

We do not expect our name change to have an impact on the branding for our products like RealVitalize and RealSure. Our consumer-focused businesses will retain their current branding without change.

Will there be a change to Realogy’s stock symbol? 

Yes, our stock symbol will change, and we will communicate the new symbol when it’s official.
