M. Ryan Gorman is chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, a global industry leader with a 115-year legacy of unparalleled customer service, integrity, and technological innovation. Under Gorman’s leadership and guidance, Coldwell Banker® has blazed a forward-thinking path into the 21st century.
Coldwell Banker has left a defining mark with its Project North star rebrand; developed CBx listing technology powered by big data; empowered agents to build wealth and improve their quality of life with services such as Listing Concierge; partnered with Angi to help consumers prepare their property for sale with RealVitalize®; created RealSure with Home Partners of America to de-stress the home purchase and sale transaction for consumers; elevated and rebranded its Global Luxury program; supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; and dedicated itself to diversity and inclusion, earning the Women’s Choice Award and launching its Inclusive Ownership affiliate program.
Gorman has a long history with Coldwell Banker and its parent company, Anywhere Real Estate Inc. (formerly known as Realogy). His current duties also include serving as president and CEO of our Brokerage Group (formerly known as NRT), one of the nation’s largest real estate brokerages. He previously served as NRT’s chief strategy and operating officer and its senior vice president of strategic operations. Earlier in his career, Gorman was corporate senior vice president and head of strategic development, and led acquisitions across the title insurance, relocation, and technology areas of the firm.
Gorman graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in his beloved Philadelphia and has held advisory and principal investment roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse, and The Blackstone Group. Gorman is a self-professed urban planning geek, intrepid bicycle commuter, husband to his high school sweetheart, and father to three incredible humans.
